PARTICIPANT GUIDELINES
– Attend meetings regularly and engage actively. Meaningful connections are strengthened through presence and participation.
– Interact authentically and transparently, recognizing that genuine relationships often extend beyond business.
– Prioritize building relationships over immediate sales. Interactions should be approached with the spirit of learning, support, and collaboration.
– Refrain from high-pressure sales tactics or persistent follow-ups. Respect each individual’s decision-making process and timing.
– Communicate respectfully and professionally at all times.
EVENTS
– Quarterly Lunch Meetings:
Meetings will take place at the Decatur Entrepreneurial Center from 12 pm – 1:30 pm and will occur quarterly in March, June, September & December on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. RSVP is required.
(Note: Leaving materials at each participant’s seat is discouraged, instead each attendee will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and pitch their business during our “around the room”. Each meeting will end with time to network and exchange business cards and promotional items during our “Minutes to Mingle.”)
– Quarterly Socials: Members of ANEW will be invited to attend after hours socials. Dates and locations on these events will change each year with interest.
– Quarterly 1-on-1: All members are encouraged to meet one-on-one to learn more about each other’s businesses and grow in their relationships. The goal of the one-on-one is to foster the relationships amongst our members and provide an opportunity to mentor one another.
